Former Nairobi Deputy Governor Mueke joins United Green Movement Party

Former Nairobi Deputy Governor Jonathan Mueke has joined the United Green Movement (UGM) party. This happens weeks after he ditched Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper party

Mueke Joins the UGM party as the Secretary General.

During a press briefing on Friday morning Mueke said he has started a journey with other progressive and like minded Kenyans to bring a change..

” Today I officially join the UGM party as co secretary general. , I shall lead with others, the United Green movement is a party that will deliver on the aspiration of Kenyans.” Mueke said.

Mueke being received by the UGM party officials at the party’s headquarters.

Mueke announced his exit from Wiper party on September 4.

The first Nairobi County deputy governor has so far expressed interest in kitui county gubernatorial seat in 2022 and is expected to run on UGM ticket
