Three Presidential Escort officers involved in Sudi’s scuffle transferred

Three presidential escort officers attached to Deputy President William Ruto, who were involved in a scuffle at Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi’s home have been transferred to Mandera, Homa Bay and Bondo.

The officers, a chief inspector Ekiru and two constables identified as Simon Siengo and Isaac Dida have also been removed from the Presidential Escort Unit (PEU) and moved to general duties.

The three had last week been summoned to police headquarters where they were expected to explain the role they played during the Sudi’s plans to dodge the police.

The Chief Inspector is said to have managed to escape with Sudi from the home, leaving behind his colleagues and juniors who were later arrested.
